There is a French Connection to the Hunchback of Notre Dame
Despite the fact that many animated films take place in exotic locations, the majority of their production takes place in a single location. Disney wanted to portray Paris as accurately as possible in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, an animated film released in 1996.About a quarter of the film’s production was done by an animation studio in France.
A private tour of the famous Notre-Dame cathedral was also given to filmmakers who flew to Paris in order to accurately document the city’s architecture and history.
