Anyone who has ever had a pet knows that it is like having another child in your family. We all get very attached to our animals and only want them to feel happy all the time. But, it’s impossible to keep your dog out of harm’s way every single waking moment of the day, just like for anyone else. Accidents happen and people or animals do get hurt from time to time, either physically or emotionally. There is really not much we can do to avoid this, but when someone hurts your pet or child on purpose, then it is another matter altogether. The last thing we want is to sit back and do nothing while someone we love suffers, we have to do our best to keep them safe and sound. This family’s dog went through a rollercoaster of a year and you wouldn’t believe everything that happened to this poor little guy.
Meet Hayden
Hayden Howard was thirty-six years old at the time of this story and was living in a small town in the state of Indiana. For those of you who don’t know much about this state, it is mostly farmland and quite a few communities. A lot of people raise their families there in peace and harmony.
Hayden had grown up there most of her life so she was very accustomed to how things worked in Indiana. She really liked her hometown and had always planned to grow old and raise a family there. Why not, after all, it was her safe space and she felt comfortable there.
