#23: Wandering Away During Fog or Snow
The Mist traps frightened shoppers together while deadly creatures move outside, making group cohesion difficult but essential. Fear, ideology, and mistrust soon divide the survivors more effectively than the monsters could. Leaving a protected group during fog or storm conditions removes visibility and support at once. Sometimes separation becomes unavoidable, but dramatic solo missions rarely improve survival. When the atmosphere itself hides enormous predators, staying near people with weapons and functioning flashlights seems remarkably reasonable.
