#5: Psych (2006)
Psych (2006) comes from creator Steve Franks’ upbringing around law enforcement through his father’s job. That exposure gave him insight into police work and observation skills. He built the show around a character who fakes psychic abilities but actually solves crimes using sharp attention and everyday deduction skills.
