#9: Blade Runner Originally Had a Much Darker Ending (1982)
Blade Runner (1982) went through several darker ideas before reaching its final form. In an early script, Roy Batty’s last word was reportedly Crap, while Deckard took Rachel into the countryside and killed her. These choices changed as the story developed, creating the ambiguous ending that shaped the film’s legacy.
