#11: Ta Prohm Temple at Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Ta Prohm at Angkor Wat in Cambodia was built during the late 12th century under King Jayavarman VII of the Khmer Empire. Unlike many restored temples nearby, Ta Prohm was left mostly untouched. Giant banyan tree roots now grow through its walls and passageways. The temple later became famous after appearing in Tomb Raider (2001).
