#6: Domino’s was once called DomiNick’s Pizza
The now-familiar Domino’s name did not exist at the beginning. The founders purchased a small store called DomiNick’s Pizza and initially kept the name. A disagreement with the previous owner forced a rebrand, leading to the creation of Domino’s. That change also marked a shift toward a scalable delivery-focused identity.
