#12: Clueless (1995)
We’ve covered many of the dark, twisted psychological dramas that defined a significant portion of the 90s film landscape, but the 90s also delivered many fun and fresh comedies aimed at pleasing the rebellious spirits of Gen X and early Millennials.

Clueless was a standout in this genre, delivering a modern adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma set against the trendy, bubblegum world of Beverly Hills. Alicia Silverstone’s character of the spoiled Cher gave us the memorable catchphrase “As if!” She and her friends’ antics provided a witty and charming satire of wealthy teenage culture in the 1990s.
