#12: Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005)
Dolly’s cameo in Miss Congeniality 2 has the movie doing exactly what any sensible comedy should do after obtaining Dolly Parton: make her play herself and create chaos around her. Sandra Bullock’s FBI agent mistakes circumstances surrounding Dolly for something suspicious, leading to an extremely undignified encounter. Parton cheerfully plays along with the joke. When your public image is recognizable enough, merely showing up becomes the punchline, and Dolly had achieved that level decades earlier.
