Chocolate
Refrigeration is a preferred alternative for storing chocolate and other sweets by some. ‘To each his own’ is how we reply to it. Keeping chocolate in the icebox, on the other hand, is damaging to the flavour and texture of the chocolate. A phenomenon known as “sugar bloom” occurs when chocolate is kept in the refrigerator.
The chocolate’s exterior layer displays indications of sugar bloom. The chocolate becomes grainy and gritty as a result of these small flowers, and fo chocolate fans like me, losing it’s authentic texture and taste may be frustrating, but I guess we can refrigetae them if we want to use them in some bakery recipes.
