Pumpkins
Why not save a few medium- and small-sized pumpkins from Halloween to utilise for other purposes in the future? It’s not a problem at all, in my opinion. Even if you have the necessary space, avoid storing items in the refrigerator until absolutely necessary. Although the cold will injure the pumpkin, it will not prevent it from being damaged by it.
Instead, store your pumpkins in a dry, cool location, such as your pantry or cupboard. Do you see a pattern emerging here? However, there are a few exceptions, such as cottage cheese and yoghurt, which cannot be stored in your pantry (that’s what it’s there for!). Keep them in the refrigerator at all times to prevent spoilage.
