Dried Beans
Dried beans, like rice, should not be stored in the refrigerator. These things aren’t even supposed to be packaged in the plastic bags that they commonly arrive in. Beans in plastic bags are more prone to moisture and pests than those that are not. Choosing an airtight plastic container is the best method.
This will enhance It’s shelf life and retain flavour. Keep it in a cold, dark environment that doesn’t exceed 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Beans have a lengthy shelf life if they are stored properly, but for optimal flavour, they should be cooked and eaten within a year after purchase.
