Jam
The truth is, even once the jam is opened, there is no need to store it in the refrigerator, contrary to popular belief. A large amount of jam will last for a long time if the lid is firmly secured and the jam is stored in a cool, dry environment such as a cupboard or pantry due to the high sugar content.
Several people love to eat jam in this manner, particularly if the jam contains indications of earlier usage, such as bread crumbs. Many jam jar labels indicate that you refrigerate the jam once it has been opened; however, it is entirely up to the consumer whether or not they want to follow this advise.
