Maple Syrup
In the absence of refrigeration, maple syrup has a lengthy shelf life. Flourless pancakes soaked in maple syrup are a camper’s dream. Store your maple syrup in a cold, dry area in an airtight container and you’ll have enough for a year’s supply. but that really not the case after you open the lid to that jar.
After breaking the airtight seal on a bottle of maple syrup, it’s recommended to store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. You don’t need to keep maple syrup in the fridge unless you lose the cap, which could lead to mold growth if the syrup is constantly exposed to the air.
