#25: The Inventors (1974)
Perhaps not the most high-stakes game or strategic experience in the bunch, The Inventors was a fun and quirky way to mix up family game night. Players each became an inventor, filing patents and collecting their hard-earned cash for some of their more kooky inventions (an Automatic Toast Butterer, anyone?). The humor of this game, paired with its “inventive” creativity, made it a favorite with families who wanted a break from some of the more high-stakes board games available.
