#23: Parker Lewis Can’t Lose
Parker Lewis Can’t Lose (1990-1993) was a sitcom from the 90s about a high school student who always managed to outsmart his teachers, his principal, and pretty much everyone else around him and get away with his antics.
It was defined by its quick cuts, black humor, sight gags, and a general strange, cartoonish sensibility—the kind of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off translation to television that didn’t quite fit in with other teenage comedies of its time. Parker Lewis was a good teenager comedy during the 1990s, but it has been lost to time.
