Not Everything Is Cake
The image on the left looks like a yummy miniature cake. Sure, it’s a terrible gift, but we’d much rather have a slice of cake over a stale bread roll any day of the week. The only problem was that this wasn’t actually a piece of cake, nor was it a piece of cake-shaped chocolate.
After sinking their fangs into this “gift,” the OP came to the realization that they were chewing on a piece of soap. That’s right, the employer was indirectly hinting that the OP needed to shower more often. We don’t know about you guys, but that’s a really stinky way to do it!
