“How thoughtful,” the employee said, trying not to roll their eyes to the back of their head. How can anyone get a jar of store-bought marinara sauce and attempt to pass it off as a holiday bonus? We hope that the boss was playing a prank, and that they were secretly planning to give out $5,000 bonuses to each and every employee, but sadly, we know that’s never going to happen.
Just like 99% of the world, we love marinara sauce on pasta and pizza, but if someone gave us a jar of marinara sauce for Christmas, we’d turn it into a projectile that put the gift-giver into a coma.
