We don’t know about you guys, but we’re sick of the tipping culture. It’d make more sense if restaurants paid their employees a livable wage instead of relying on kindhearted patrons. And that’s where this sad story of greed and embarrassment begins. Whitney Anderson from Salem, Virginia, was like anyone else. She dined out on occasion, left a nice tip for the polite waiters or waitresses, and wouldn’t think much else about it the following day. However, to her shock, she discovered that the waitress whom she tipped quite generously tried to pull a sneaky on her, but in the end, her attempt only blew up in her—and her employer’s—face.
Dining Out
There are some days where we don’t feel like preparing a homemade meal. That’s not a problem, just order takeout or head to your favorite restaurant and dine in. Sure, you’re spending more on eating out, and the foods aren’t always the healthiest, but having someone prep a meal for you is the best feeling in the world.
On this fateful night, Whitney Anderson and her family decided that they were going to dine out. So, Whitney and her husband packed their three kids in the car and headed out. They had no idea that they were going to suffer several months of anguish for this decision.
