10 Days for $10?
The owner was going to refund Whitney her $10 that was stolen directly from her bank account, and that should’ve been the end of it. However, for whatever reason, the owner said that Whitney could only get her money back in ten business days. He could’ve fished $10 from his wallet right then and there or taken money out of the tip jar, but nope. Ten days for $10.
This was completely unreasonable in Whitney’s eyes. Why would she have to wait for more than a week to receive money that was rightfully hers? But the worst part was that the owner didn’t even appear to feel bad about the entire situation. He wasn’t even considering reprimanding the waitress at fault!
