Not Finished Yet
After receiving the second phone call from Abuelo’s owner, she made her way back to the restaurant to receive her $65.50. After taking the cash, Whitney told the restaurant that she wasn’t done yet. This took the owner and the staff by surprise since they were thinking along the lines of “she just wants her money back.”
Whitney informed them that the refund was a nice start, but their business wasn’t done. She told them in plain terms that the waitress should be out of her job. But as you already know, that was nonnegotiable. The waitress was going to continue working there, potentially committing the same fraudulent practices against some other unsuspecting guest.
