A closer examination
Jim moved in a little closer so that he could be sure, and from that vantage point, he noticed something struggling. Jim moved in a bit closer so that he could be sure. Because Jim wanted to be absolutely certain, he moved in a little bit closer. It appeared as though someone had dragged it into the edge of the creek by something that was weak, but now that it was there, it appeared as though it was confined within that space.
Jim’s regular day begins with him going for a brisk walk along the creek for twenty-five minutes; however, on this particular day, he meant to remain there for a notably longer period of time than he ever did there on an average day. Jim’s antics did not in any way, shape, or form succeed in entertaining the dogs in any way.
