When it was all said and done, Sydney now had fifteen metal rings around her neck that were stacked on top of each other. The weight was going to take some time to adjust to, but she didn’t care at all. When she saw herself in the mirror, she almost cried.
In her mind, she looked beautiful, unique, and different. The rings made her keep her neck upright at all times and limited the range of motion she had. It was difficult to look down unless she moved her entire body. The weight was already pressing down onto her collarbone.
