Despite Her Husband’s Reputation As A Goaltender, Little Is Known About Her
Petra, Jaroslav’s wife, is a mystery to most people despite her husband’s notoriety as a goaltender for the Boston Bruins. Petra has a relatively low public profile. Jaroslav Halak gave up his life as a free agent in 2018 to sign a contract with the Boston Bruins for two years at a salary of $5.5 million, with an option to re-sign in May of the following year.
During the 2010 Winter Olympics, Halák competed for his native Slovakia, which helped the country finish in its best-ever position of fourth place. Halák was also a member of the Slovak national team. Petra and Jaroslav tied the knot in 2012, and since then, the couple has been blessed with two children: a daughter named Inna and a son named Nathan.
