#3: Flamingo Revenge
Pink plastic flamingos have been a staple of American lawn kitsch for decades. Most of us remember seeing them like some tropical color in a suburban yard. One smart decorator decided to give this classic ornament a morbid twist. They staged a full-blown attack scene on their grass. A whole flock of skeletal, black-painted flamingos was shown surrounding and taking down a traditional pink one. The scene transforms a cheerful decoration into something out of a horror movie. First designed back in 1957, the pink flamingo has seen a lot, but probably not this.
