It’s amazing how much joy animals can bring us without even trying. Sometimes, just being around a friendly animal is enough to put a smile on our faces. Just look at this soldier holding the little pig smiling from ear to ear. His smile looks so genuine; it’s almost contagious.

Full disclosure: I’ve never thought pigs were cute, not even little piglets, and I find them somewhat off-putting… That being said, I have to admit this photo is adorable! They both look so happy and peaceful. Who knew soldiers during wartime could be this happy? That’s the power of animals right there.
