Every little kid dreams of getting a puppy, no matter the generation or the geographic area. We’ve all gone through a phase in our childhood when we nagged our parents to get us a puppy, and they were understandably reluctant, knowing they would end up taking care of it. In this picture from 1955, we see the father’s joy and the son’s pleading eyes seconds before he receives the precious puppy.
The picture is titled “A Few Seconds Before Happiness,” and we couldn’t think of a better title to capture the essence of this picture. We don’t know anything about this father and his son, but we can only imagine the boy’s excitement when he laid eyes on the adorable puppy and his father’s satisfaction.
