#13: Time – The Alan Parsons Project
A stunning evaluation of the ravages of time, the Alan Parsons Project’s “Time” is a unique inclusion on this list. It is one of the few songs in which you can hear Alan Parsons singing and it was the first of the group’s songs to include Eric Woolfson as lead vocalist. It was released in 1980.

“Time” is still considered one of the band’s most popular songs, even though it didn’t make huge waves on the charts. It reached No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 10 on the company’s Adult Contemporary chart as well.
