#7: Ornate Wall Mirrors
For wall décor, interior designers in the 1970s opted for mirrors. Not just any mirrors either. The more ornate and detailed the frame, the better. Perhaps this was an attempt to add a touch of class and sophistication to the otherwise gaudy home furnishings of the day.
