She was not employed at a roadside eatery with things on the menu priced at less than ten dollars each since that would not have been appropriate for her. The high-end cuisine she served brought in customers who were willing to shell out hundreds of dollars each time they dined there.
Due to the fact that the restaurant was doing so well, Cindy could rest assured that she would always have a job available to her. However, there was a part of her that had a hard time reconciling the concept that some customers could afford such lavish dinners. In contrast, others, like the homeless man who was sleeping on the sidewalk outside the restaurant, had nothing to eat.
