What topics are covered in the remaining novels in the Little House series?
There is a second novel in the Little House series, but it is not as well-known as Little House on the Prairie. This is because Little House on the Prairie is the source material for the television show. In that novel, the Ingalls family leaves their home in the woods, where they live in a log cabin, and moves to the Kansas Territory.
Farmer Boy, the second novel in this series, focuses on Almanza’s life before he met Laura and tells the story of his boyhood. The rural areas of New York were his home for the better part of his adult life.
