Phoebe Cates captured us with her unforgettable pool scene in the teen comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) and her role in Gremlins (1984). Like many, Cates chose to step away from acting entirely in the 1990s to raise her family. Today, she successfully runs a unique, high-end boutique gift shop on the Upper East Side of New York City.
