The original Jeopardy! (1964) run, hosted by Art Fleming, lasted from 1964 to 1975, but surprisingly little footage survives. Fewer than 30 episodes are known to remain from nearly 3,000 broadcasts. The losses are a reminder that daily game shows were often treated as disposable programming rather than historical records.
