A Sea Shell in Sea Salt
As you know, sea salt is made by evaporating water from the ocean or from saltwater lakes. It normally contains sodium chloride, iron, and potassium. Calcium carbonate is not usually an ingredient but that’s what this OP found in their packet of sea salt. Don’t be confused.
That’s just a fancy way of saying he found a sea shell in his sea salt. While that could be a choking hazard, what it does prove is that the salt is “all-natural” just like the packet claims it is. Still, we’re glad he noticed it in time and saved himself a trip to the emergency room. Pay attention to what you eat people!
