#19: Who Wants a Smoothie?
It’s always nice to have frozen fruit in the house for when you’re in the mood for a smoothie. The thing is, frozen fruit can be quite expensive. One savvy way to save money on smoothie ingredients is by purchasing fresh fruit on sale, cutting it up, and freezing it for later use. When you come across a great deal on fresh fruits like berries, bananas, or mangoes, take advantage of it.

After washing, slicing, and portioning the fruits, place them in airtight containers or freezer bags before freezing. By doing so, you not only lock in the freshness but also create your own stash of frozen fruit for smoothies, eliminating the need for store-bought frozen fruit blends that can be more expensive.
