Marissa finds her seat
Susan was already sitting in the back of the plane when Marissa arrived and was seated next to her with her baby boy. Mason was silent at this point and was just half awake and his mother rocked him slowly in her arms. Susan didn’t bother saying hi, she was too focused on herself.
All she wanted was for this flight to be over as fast as possible so she could get back to her life. Marrissa noticed that Susan, who was a complete stranger to her at this point, was acting a little bit on edge. So she decided to mind her own business and take her seat without engaging in small talk.
