Trouble begins
This is the point in the story where all the real problems and drama arise. Susan, sitting in the back of the plane, close to Marissa and her baby, was not impressed with her seat number. She had a bit of a fear of flying and had read that the back of the plane was the worst place to sit.
The idea of crashing was the last thing she needed on her mind with all the other issues going on in her life, and she wanted to be moved. She decided that she should try to see if another seat was available on the plane. Chances were slim though because the flight was full.
