How A First-Class Cabin Appeared
The Titanic’s first-class sleeping suites were elegant, ornate, and luxurious. A four-poster bed, a desk, chairs, reading lights, and, if the film is to be believed, a chaise longue or two were all found in rooms like this one.
All of the first-class staterooms were on the B Deck. Unfortunately, when the ship’s water level rose, the B Deck became completely impassable. When the ship sank, many of the people who were in this area of the ship were trapped.
