This is the dining area for third-class passengers
On board the Titanic, this is where the third-class passengers ate their meals. On the lower deck of the ship, there was a cafeteria. Despite the fact that this area was not particularly opulent, the beautiful silverware on the tables astonished many of the passengers who dined here.
Third-class passengers were served porridge, vegetable stew, baked potatoes, and, on rare occasions, roast beef in this lounge. Even while it wasn’t as opulent as the upper lounges, this dining hall was nonetheless useful and cozy.
