Even the less opulent stairwells were opulent
The Titanic’s Grand Staircase was the show-stopper, but the ship’s other staircases weren’t half bad either. Third-class passengers didn’t get to spend much time near the Grand Staircase, but they also didn’t get to use the ship’s other staircases, which were quite luxurious in their own right.
The banisters are made of carved dark oak and the stairs are covered in lush green carpet in this photo.
