It didn’t last long on the water
The Titanic famously struck an iceberg just four days after setting sail on her maiden voyage. The ship was destroyed in the collision (and for many of the passengers on board).
Divers were finally able to inspect the wreckage of this once-magnificent ship in the 1980s. After striking with an iceberg, the Titanic sank barely four days into her first journey. Photographers were able to snap disturbing photographs of the yacht at the bottom of the sea in the 1990s.
