#20: It’s a Matter of Manners
Imagine being arrested just for slurping your soup – if you’re in New Jersey, you don’t have to imagine! I know we’re all trying to be more polite in public, but this seems a little extreme. What’s next, arresting people for breathing too heavily? I can imagine the chaos ensuing if this law was enforced.
Half the population of New Jersey would be behind bars by the end of the week. And what about all the other noisy food and drink options out there? What if someone eats a crunchy carrot or drinks a bubbly soda? We’ll have to stick to drinking soup through a straw when in public.
