#35: Piano Man
Perhaps this attempts to level the playing field and ensure that one-armed pianists aren’t discriminated against. Requiring them to perform for free may encourage more venues to hire them and provide opportunities for them to showcase their skills. Or maybe it’s just a quirky law that was put in place for no particular reason but has managed to stick around.

Regardless of the logic here, one thing’s for sure: being a one-armed piano player in Iowa has some unique challenges. But we have no doubt that those talented musicians are up to the task and will continue to captivate audiences with their incredible abilities.
