No Response for 50 Years
When he was a child, Samuel knew that his mother had sent his supposed father, Tony, a letter. He was only five years old at the time, and in his innocence, he thought that his dad would come bursting through the front doors after being absent for so long.
Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. As you know, Tony didn’t respond because he didn’t know the letter existed. This begs the question: if he had known, would he have reached out to Shirly and Samuel, or would he have left the letter in an old filing cabinet to never see the light of day ever again?
