Just for the Money?
Samuel was steadfast in his denial of such hurtful allegations. He wanted nothing but to meet Tony for so long, and when they finally did, he was nothing but happy to know who he thought his father was. It was never about the money; it was about having someone to call dad.
Tony was also taken aback by those who claimed Samuel was out to blackmail him for his pension. While Arlene’s thoughts hurt him, Tony ultimately decided that it didn’t matter. He and Samuel were as dad and son as could be.
