A Protective Sister
Even though Arlene was happy that Samuel and Tony were fast becoming friends, she still had her doubts. She understood that it wasn’t about the money any longer, but she also felt that maybe their newfound father-son-like relationship was unhealthy for both of them.
Arlene stated that she would prefer that Samuel and Tony didn’t hang out as often. Tony was an aging man who needed his rest, and experiencing such an emotional blow at that age wasn’t going to do him any favors. However, the two stuck to their regular ritual of meeting up also every week. The two of them were happy, so that should’ve been enough for the world.
