A Poetic Take
It looks like this person actually enjoyed working for their old boss, whose name was probably Scott. The OP actually went out of their way to come up with a long, rhyming poem in place of a generic resignation letter. That was kind of them, but it probably didn’t soften the blow of losing such a valued employee.
Leaving an office that you actually enjoyed working for is never easy. You have to say goodbye to your colleagues who didn’t snitch on you for doing that thing to the office microwave, your boss who was totally chill about random urine test results, and your office computer that has served you well, even though it took forever to boot up.
