#16: Peter Sallis – Wallace
Wallace and Gromit is a British animated stop-motion franchise that’s been popular across the world since the early 2000s. Wallace is a bumbling, kind-hearted inventor who lives with his dog, Gromit, and perhaps one of the most-loved characters in British animation.
Peter Sallis’s warm Northern English accent and genial delivery seemed a perfect match for Wallace’s character. Sallis was active in his voice acting career until 2015, two years before his passing at the age of 96.
