#2: Nancy Cartwright – Bart Simpson
You might be surprised to know that one of the most recognizable voices in animation belongs to Nancy Cartwright. She’s the brilliant voice behind Bart Simpson on The Simpsons, her most famous performance, but she has also voiced other characters on the show, such as Nelson Muntz and Ralph Wiggum.
Cartwright originally auditioned for another Simpsons character, Lisa Simpson, but felt an instant connection with Bart’s playful side. She couldn’t have been more right about this, as she perfectly captures his mischievous essence. Cartwright won a very-deserved Emmy Award in 1992 for her work on the show, as well as an Annie Award for Best Voice Acting in the Field of Animation.
