#10: Pushkar Camel Fair – India
The Pushkar Camel Fair takes over Rajasthan each October or November during Kartik Purnima. Centered around the sacred Pushkar Lake, the event started as a pilgrimage destination and a livestock trading hub by the 15th century. British records from the 1800s noted its growing scale, and nowadays it still follows the lunar calendar. Visitors can experience a mix of vibrant commerce, religious ritual, and cultural spectacle.
